About the Owner

Kandice Lau, Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, is a fourth generation hairstylist and licensed cosmetologist. 

Kandice got her start in the industry back in 2002 attending Hollywood Beauty College in Aiea, Hawaii and graduating first in her class. She has worked as a stylist in Las Vegas, and has done work on numerous events including fashion shows, photo shoots, and the 2003 Mrs.Hawaii Pageant. Kandice also freelances hair and make up for three different wedding companies on the island. After starting out her first 6 years at her sister’s salon, In 2008 Kandice opened the first full service nail salon in Hale’iwa, Which was featured in the Honolulu Advertiser’s Island Life section as the place to “Get your nails did”. In 2009, she expanded into the only full service salon & spa in the area, then in 2011, expanding again to almost triple it’s size. She has established and maintained a wide variety of clientele including local celebrities through word of mouth and referrals. She has successfully continued to fulfill her passion through her work and has a knack for giving her clients a good laugh while making them feel comfortable and striving to always create and maintain a beautiful new look.
